BSI-29 Kolsch

A widely used kolsch strain from Cologne, Germany. It ferments clean and produces a lager-like ale, well suited for German kolsch and altbier. It ferments at a higher temperature range than other kolsch strains. It may produce slight sulphur that can dissipate with time. Flocculation can be variable, as is typical with kolsch yeast.
