A-68 London Ale II

A popular English ale yeast with a classic ESB profile. Low attenuation and a mild and complex fruity ester profile can accentuate malt profiles, especially traditional English malts. Produces some diacetyl. Well suited for English pale ales, milds, and bitters. An excellent choice for cask-conditioned pale and amber ales. Can also be used for American stouts and porters. This strain is highly flocculant and can sometimes leave residual sugars. It is important to ensure a stable final gravity is reached before packaging beers fermented with this yeast. Additional aeration and agitation may be required for a successful fermentation.
