A-18 London Ale III

One of the most popular strains for modern juicy, hazy, and New England IPAs. A true top-cropping strain with a fruity ester profile, and a soft palate. This strain pairs well with American citrus and tropical hops for hazy IPAs. Originally used for English pale ales, this yeast can leave a bit of residual sweetness. However, in heavily hopped beers the attenuation can creep upwards of 80%. Due to this strain’s top-cropping nature, the flocculation is variable, and repeated cone cropping can affect the overall population and performance.
